My family has farmed at Hill Ridware in Staffordshire for 4 generations. We are proud to present this fine culinary oil which is grown, harvested, cold pressed, filtered and bottled on our farm. It is our hope that future generations will continue in our tradition, bringing produce to market which is wholesome, nutritious and does not have to travel far from farm to plate.
Sustainable farming is about caring for the land. As part of the Countryside Stewardship Scheme we have taken part in a great many schemes to help the environment, including reclaiming a large marshland area, wild bird mixtures for feeding birds through the winter and grass margins to protect hedges and water courses, and to encourage the reintroduction of natural species such as the Grey Partridge.
